Lilian Johnstone
Dr Lilian Johnstone is a paediatric nephrologist and paediatrician. Currently Head of the Department of Nephrology at Monash Children’s Hospital, Monash Health and a VMO to the Department of Nephrology at RCH; Lilian is also HMO Co-ordinator for the paediatric staff based at Monash Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the RACP Paediatric Basic Training Accreditation Sub-Committee and has recently been invited to represent the Accreditation Sub-Committee on the Paediatrics and Child Health Division Basic Training Committee. Lilian has a great interest in supporting junior staff in their work roles and encouraging them to maintain work-life balance – a challenge she has not mastered as her family will attest.
