You’re still busy fighting off catastrophes at work, your partner isn’t answering their mobile and you haven’t heard from your nannie since the Mayflower set sail for a better world.

Meanwhile, the kids are already putting on their jumpers at Kinder and school, looking forward to block any of your questions about what they did today with a blunt “I forgot.” You have no clue whether there’s food in the fridge to cook dinner with but it doesn’t much matter because, really, whatever you serve is going to be deemed ‘yuck’ anyway. And just when you’re about to heroically dive into traffic to pick up the ones you love - where ever they might have migrated to in the meantime - a nurse casually lets you know that the previously stable patient with severe pneumonia no longer looks so stable, unless severe tachypnoea and an oxygen requirement of 20L via rebreather counts as stable.
